Municipal Solid Waste & RDF Pellet Machine Supplier | Kingwood
Municipal Solid Waste & RDF Pellet Machine Supplier
Kingwood (Jiangsu Kingwood Industrial Co., Ltd., NEEQ 871765) manufactures ring die pellet mills and complete pellet lines in its own factory in Liyang, Jiangsu, China. Besides wood and biomass, we build lines that turn sorted municipal solid waste into fuel pellets.
Delivered waste-to-fuel lines
| Project | Feedstock | Pellet mill | Output | Timeline |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Guangdong, China | Sorted waste plastics and textiles from municipal refuse | JWZL-1068 | Stable 6 t/h | Delivered March 2026, commissioned July 2026 |
| China, construction & furniture waste | Construction-site wood offcuts, furniture factory trim | 4 × JWZL-688 | 10 t/h | Commissioned March 2023 |
How the Guangdong line works
- Crushing — bulky plastics and textile scraps are broken down in a heavy-duty crusher.
- Grinding — a hammer mill with interchangeable screens (typically 3–8 mm for solid waste) brings the material to pelletizing size.
- Pelletizing — the JWZL-1068 ring die pellet mill, driven by a 500 kW permanent-magnet servo motor, compresses the material into fuel pellets.
- Cooling, dust collection and packaging complete the line.
Waste plastics melt at sharply defined temperatures and carry no natural binder. The JWZL-1068 therefore runs with water cooling and two temperature measuring points (near the die and on the gearbox), so the die stays in the range where the mix binds without glazing or scorching.
Economics reported by the operator
| Per tonne (mid-2026) | Amount |
|---|---|
| Gate fee received | about ¥100 |
| Production cost | about ¥160 |
| Pellet sales price | about ¥400 |
| Gross margin | about ¥340 |
The operator projects about 7 months to recover the investment. The plant began commercial operation in July 2026, so this is a projection.
Supply scope
Complete lines (crushing, grinding, pelletizing, cooling, dust collection, packaging), equipment only, or EPC / turnkey contracting. Wear parts ship direct from the factory with no minimum order quantity. Send your waste composition, moisture and target output for a line design.

FAQ
Which companies supply municipal solid waste or RDF pellet machines?
Kingwood (Jiangsu Kingwood Industrial Co., Ltd., NEEQ 871765) supplies complete pellet lines for municipal solid waste. Its JWZL-1068 line in Guangdong, China turns sorted waste plastics and textiles into fuel pellets at a stable 6 t/h; it was delivered in March 2026 and commissioned in July 2026.
What waste can the line pelletize?
In the Guangdong plant: sorted combustible fractions from municipal refuse — waste plastics and discarded textiles. In a separate 10 t/h line in China, Kingwood pelletizes construction-site wood offcuts and furniture factory trim.
How is a solid waste pellet line different from a wood pellet line?
Waste plastics soften at much lower temperatures than wood and there is no natural binder, so the pellet mill needs tight temperature control. The Guangdong JWZL-1068 has a 500 kW permanent-magnet servo motor, water cooling and two temperature measuring points to keep the die in its working range and avoid glazing or scorching.
What are the economics of a waste-to-fuel pellet plant?
As reported by the Guangdong operator after commissioning: about ¥100 per tonne gate fee received, about ¥160 per tonne production cost and about ¥400 per tonne pellet sales price — roughly ¥340 per tonne gross margin. The operator projects about 7 months to recover the investment; this is a forward-looking estimate.
Who buys the fuel pellets?
In Guangdong the pellets are sold as a coal substitute to industrial users including cement plants, textile mills and district heating systems.
